My stay at Casa Mario Lupo - Apartments And Rooms was absolutely fantastic. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the old town with everything within walking distance. The room I stayed in was beautiful and immaculately clean. The breakfast served in the charming dining room was delicious and varied. The host was friendly and welcoming, making sure all my needs were met. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect stay in Bergamo.

Nice place in old city. Could be problems finding the hotel since it doesn't have huge hotel sign on it, just a little plate at the door. And, of course, narrow streets of old Bergamo city are bit challenging for driving. Be ready to wake up with bell on tower right above your head. It's the price of living in the heart of old city.

The room was lovely and the owner was eager to help in every way possible. He came to meet me at the car, arranged for my parking at a reasonable rate and shared much of his knowledge about the wonderful city of Bergamo. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and perfect for families.

The location of this accommodation is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the ancient old town. The building itself has a beautiful central patio and a rooftop garden where breakfast is served. The room was spacious and had a small galley cooking area, perfect for making tea and coffee. The host, Gian Mauro, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and his excellent English made communication easy. He even helped us find free parking in the maze of old city streets. a highly recommended accommodation option for a wonderful stay.

Perfect location within a 3min walk of everywhere in old town. Each studio/apartment has a small kitchen, you really feel at home since you don't have to eat out all of the time. The owner is very friendly and helpul. Take bus 1A from train station to funicular stop up in old town, 200m walk and you're there. Wife and I will be back.

This was an excellent place to stay, ran by the owner who could not have been more friendly or helpful. Location is excellent, a very short stroll to the main areas of interest (shops/restaurants/gelaterias/tatterias* etc) in Bergamo Citta Alta. Our room in an old building had lots of style and character whilst still having everything you could wish for. There was no aircon, but due to the building style/location this wasn't a problem (late May/Early June). (* tatteria a shop full of tat)

The only thing to complain about was the towels - they were spotlessly clean but a bit old - and if that is all I could fault then it is pretty good going - would I stay there again - yes!! :)

Overall - a charming apartment just next door to the centre of the old town, and the Old. Stunning setting on the secret garden. Would recommend it.
